  1. About Pågen AB
  • Pågen is Sweden's leading bakery in packaged fresh bread, yeasted coffee bread, crusts, sausage and hamburger buns that are naturally delicious.
  • Pågen is a family business whose baking tradition stretches back to 1878 when Anders and Matilda Påhlsson began baking and selling bread in their home on Tallgatan in Malmö.
  • The head office is located in Malmö and Pågen has two bakeries, one in Malmö and one in Gothenburg.

  1. Ordering
  • Once you have completed your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. In the confirmation you will find all information such as products, price, billing and delivery address.
  • If there is something wrong with the order confirmation, please contact us immediately via email to ecommerce.manager@pagen.se.
  1. Delivery
  • Our normal delivery times are 5 - 7 days. NOTE: Orders placed on weekends will be shipped the following Monday at the earliest.
  • Shipping  within EU 79 SEK. Free shipping over 899 SEK
  • If delays in delivery occur (without us informing you of a longer delivery time), please contact us at the email address: ecommerce.manager@pagen.se
  • If a package is not collected from the delivery location, without a request for return, a fee of SEK 80 per shipment will be charged.
  • All prices within the EU include VAT, and no customs fees are applied for EU countries. Any administrative fees or taxes incurred in the destination country (applicable to certain types of goods) are the responsibility of the customer. For shipments outside the EU, customs fees and VAT may apply according to the regulations of the destination country. Please check local regulations for more information.
  1. Prices
  • All prices in the store are listed in local currency and all prices include 25% Swedish VAT.
  1. Right of withdrawal
  • When purchasing goods on the website, you as a customer have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date you have received the goods.

    5.1 When exercising your right of withdrawal:
  • You must notify Pågen that you regret your decision. The message should be sent to us at ecommerce.manager@pagen.se. Your message should clearly state your name, address, email address, order number and which goods the return applies to.
  • You should return the products to us immediately and no later than within the statutory 14 days after the notice of withdrawal.
  • You are responsible for return shipping, delivery and the condition of the products when they arrive at Postpac. The products should therefore be sent well packaged and in their original packaging.
  • The refund is expected to take 14 days after the item has arrived at Postpac.

5.2 The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Products that are used.
  • Swimwear
  • Products that have been sealed for health or hygiene reasons and where the seal has been broken by you.

  1. Complaints and claims
  • We inspect all products before they are shipped to you. Should the product still be damaged or incorrectly shipped when it arrives, we undertake, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation, to rectify the defect free of charge.
  • You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective item.
  • The complaint should be sent immediately after the defect is discovered.

    6.1 How do you proceed in the event of a complaint?
  • Any errors (errors in the product or incorrect quantity) should always be reported immediately to ecommerce.manager@pagen.se, where you provide your name, address, email address, order number and a description of the error.
  • If we are unable to remedy the defect or deliver a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. We will cover return shipping for approved complaints.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a complaint if it turns out that the product is not defective in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. When making complaints, we follow guidelines from the Swedish National Board of Complaints - see arn.se.
  1. Limitation of liability
  • We take no responsibility for indirect damages that may arise due to the product.
  • We accept no liability for delays/errors due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. Force Majeure). These circumstances may include, for example, labor disputes, fire, war, government decisions, reduced or non-existent delivery from our subcontractor.
  1. Product information
  • We reserve the right to any printing errors on this website and for the final sale of a product. We do not guarantee that the images reflect the exact appearance of the products as a certain color difference may occur depending on the monitor, photo quality and resolution. We always try our best to expose the products as accurately as possible.
  1. Information about Cookies
  • According to the Electronic Information Act, visitors to a website must be informed, for privacy purposes, that cookies are used. The information in the cookie can be used to track a user's surfing. A cookie is a small text file that the website you are visiting requests to be saved on your computer to provide access to various functions. You can set your browser to automatically refuse cookies.   1. Changes to these Terms of Purchase
  • We reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time. Changes to the terms and conditions will be published online on the website. The changed terms and conditions are deemed to be accepted by you as a customer when you place an order.
  1. Dispute and choice of law
  • If the dispute cannot be resolved by mutual agreement between the company's customer service and you, you as a customer can turn to the Swedish General Board of Consumer Complaints - see arn.se. For residents of an EU country other than Sweden, you can submit a complaint online via the EU Commission's platform for dispute resolution, see http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
  • In the event of a dispute, we will follow decisions from ARN or a corresponding dispute resolution body.
  • Disputes regarding the interpretation or application of these general terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.
